SchneiTec Chint Co., Ltd is a joint venture between SchneiTec Group, a leading company in power and energy development in Cambodia, and CHINT Group, a global provider of smart energy solutions. The company manufactures and supplies electrical products of low and medium voltage for various projects in Cambodia. One of its recent projects was the supply of 24kV switchgear panels and other accessories for spare parts in GS1, GS2, and GS3 for the transmission department (Annual Plan 2020) of Électricité du Cambodge (EDC), the national utility company of Cambodia.
The project involved the installation and testing of switchgear panels that are used to control and protect electrical equipment in power transmission networks. The switchgear panels are designed to meet international standards and ensure safety and reliability. SchneiTec Chint conducted the factory acceptance test (FAT) for this project at its factory with EDC on 01 December 2022, where the quality and performance of the products were verified. On 03 January 2023, the company conducted another site test for this project with EDC at the locations where the switchgear panels were installed. The site test confirmed that the products were functioning properly and met the specifications and requirements of EDC. Finally, on 06 February 2023, SchneiTec Chint successfully handed over this project to EDC, completing its contractual obligations and delivering customer satisfaction.
This project demonstrates the capability and expertise of SchneiTec Chint in providing high-quality electrical products for power transmission projects in Cambodia. It also shows the strong partnership and collaboration between SchneiTec Chint and EDC, which is essential for the development of the power sector in Cambodia.
